One of the nice things about a neighborhood pool is that it is often walkable or bike-able. We understand, however, that this is not always practical. Parking in Princeton is pretty tight, and as the swim club is on University property, and Broadmead is a private road, we work with the University to identify appropriate parking for our members.
Please note that there are a multiplicity of projects happening on campus and parking options may change.
Members are welcome to park at the University’s nearby Stadium Drive parking garage by registering for a FREE daily visitor permit. Registration can be done online in advance or at the garage during arrival. A permit is required to enter and exit the garage between 7 AM and 4 PM on weekdays. The garage is a 5 minute walk from the pool. Parking in the garage after 4 PM is also free and does not require a permit.
The University’s Broadmead Street parking is restricted to permitted University employees only between 7 AM and 4 PM on weekdays. Members may park on the street after 4:00 PM on weekdays or anytime on University holidays or weekends.
Members are permitted to park on available Western Way street spaces after 4:30 PM on weekdays or anytime on university holidays or weekends.
Parking in the lot between 185 Broadmead (UNOW daycare) and 171 Broadmead is restricted at all times. Members should please not use these spaces. An exception to this may be made for those members who qualify for accessible parking under the ADA; if your vehicle displays the appropriate hangtag, you may park in either of the two ADA-designated spaces at UNOW (shown in map below), on a first-come, first-served basis:
