Nassau Swim Team at Broadmead
Broadmead Swim Club is excited to announce the addition of a swim team to the club this summer! Nassau, our fellow small swim club in Princeton, has been permanently closed. With this news, we have decided to partner with them to create the Nassau Swim Team at Broadmead. This swim team is designed for children 4-18 (or the summer after their senior year) with the only criteria being the ability to swim a full length of the pool. The Nassau Swim Team at Broadmead is open to all, and a great way for children to explore the world of competitive swimming with daily swim workouts and low pressure dual meets in the Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association (PASDA) league. Nassau Swim Team has always been an outlet for summer fun and friendship — let’s keep the tradition alive!
About the coach:
Rachel Adlai-Gail will be the head swim coach of the Nassau Swim Team at Broadmead this summer! She is a graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North and Bryn Mawr College and was a swimmer and a team captain at both schools. Rachel recently completed her psychology degree and masters in social work at Bryn Mawr College.
Rachel is a long-time member of Nassau Swim Club, swimming on the team for 12 years and coaching for the past four summers. She has also been an aquatics program counselor and taught private swim and dive lessons. Having grown up at Nassau, Rachel has been a Lemming her whole life.
Although heartbroken over the permanent closure of her childhood pool, Rachel is excited to bring a bit of Nassau magic to Broadmead this summer. Sign up for the swim team and let’s make new memories together!

Fees:
Members: $225 for one child, $425 for two or more children
Non-members: $325 for one child, $525 for two or more children
Swim Team Practice Schedule:
2024 Preseason Practices: TBD
2024 Regular Season:
June 17 – July 26 (Monday-Friday)
8 and under 1-2pm
9 and over 2pm-3pm
Swim Team Meet Schedule:
PASDA Dual Meets –
Meets are Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. Parents are expected to volunteer at swim meets 🙂
Tentative mini meet date (for children 10 and under): Sat 7/6 at Ben Franklin
Championship meet: Mon 7/22 and Tu 7/23 at CP
