As we close in on the final days of the 2023 season, we are posting to share the latest BSC news with the members. We have heard from Princeton University representatives that they are seriously considering the fate of the Broadmead Swim Club and what possible role the University might play in enabling us to open again next year. Since we won’t likely know anything definitive for quite a while yet, please consider joining us in a poolside “goodbye for now, we hope not forever” gathering and potluck on Labor Day (Monday the 4th), starting around 4pm. (Bring a dish to share if you have a mind to, but all members are welcome even if you don’t have anything to share!)
Broadmead Swim Club should be open from 10am through 7pm through Labor Day, our final day of the season; yesterday’s early closure was the result of a guard having been fired without our knowledge, but we’ve been assured that the pool should now be staffed through Monday.
